Life was full of happiness
Just as I had wanted it to be
Suddenly, one night I was sleeping
Having one of the greatest dreams
But before sunrise
I was thrown outside
Left standing at the front door of my porch
Locked out of my perfect world
How could this happen to me
I remember those words you said
That it was okay to put my trust in you
You lied to me
Thought you said I was all you needed
Sadly, I had been replaced
And left in the cold night
Sleeping on the porch of my perfect world
My home that I built
And invited you in to be my guest
