If love is a crime
I will give more than a dime to get the best lawyer
Because I will be love’s most active member
Who would always give my effort and endeavor
To be again love’s best defender
Always making sure I never slumber
For I remember, a time in December
I was once a love conqueror
Who was left to uncover
A realm of a false lover
The aftermath led to my emotional disorder
But always knew there was another
Who would treat me better
Who would love me deeper
Who would cherish me further
Always draw me closer
Care for me like no other
Betray me, never!
If love was not a crime
I would be love’s most sworn eliminator
For after my emotional disorder
That took me months to recover
My love would have been infinitesimal
Always describable with a decimal
I could have chosen not to be loyal then it will be the phrase I call critical
Because we would lack the essential
To make our relationship formal
Then I will say I love you no more
Please accept it, it’s normal
Alas, making me love’s worst hater
Making me love’s worst discriminator
Making me love’s worst member
Most of all, love’s sworn attacker
If love was again a crime
Even with all that I have been through
I still choose to be forever true
Always be among the best few
If love was crime
I would still write my poems and make them rhyme
For I believe in what comes from above
That’s a real true unconditional love!
